<p dir="auto">The <strong>CPU-vulnerabilities</strong> of the <strong>Meltdown- and Spectre-Family</strong> (Spectre and Meltdown are just two vulnerabilities, scientist found more) require Windows updates but also <strong>BIOS updates</strong> to make the system secure.</p>
<p dir="auto">For other hardware like <strong>SSDs</strong> there may also be firmware-updates available.</p>
<p dir="auto">So it would be cool when VulnDetect also tells me that there are BIOS-Updates and Firmware-Updates for my installed hardware available.</p>

I believe that we already have some preliminary support for this in the agent, but we did not at all explore the data availability.<br />
So this one is on hold for now.<br />
But feel free to keep this thread updated with info about this and by all means remind us again around the end of the year</p>
