It would be perfect to have an Amazon Alexa Skill for VulnDetect.
Here are some ideas for voice actions (this list will be updated with new ideas that are suggested in this topic).

Amazon Alexa is very popular and it would be attractive to users to control VulnDetect with Alexa.
I know that there are privacy concerns about Alexa, but many users are using it, so VulnDetect should be present in this market.

I don't know if you have to name VulnDetect in each command even when the skill is installed.
So instead of Alexa, show my apps in VulnDetect
users can also say Alexa, show my apps.

    Opening VulnDetect

    Open VulnDetect

    Commands:

    1. Alexa, open VulnDetect
    2. Alexa, open my apps in VulnDetect
    3. Alexa, show my apps in VulnDetect
    4. Alexa, open the list of apps in VulnDetect
    5. Alexa, show the list of apps in VulnDetect

Opens the list of applications (https://personal.vulndetect.com/#/applications)

    Open VulnDetect Configuration

    Commands:

    1. Alexa, open the VulnDetect configuration
    2. Alexa, configure VulnDetect

Opens the configuration of VulnDetect (https://personal.vulndetect.com/#/configuration)

    System Scan

    Start a System Scan

    Commands:

    1. Alexa, start a VulnDetect scan
    2. Alexa, scan my computer with VulnDetect

    Starts a full system scan.
I know that Alexa does not have access to the computer (can not execute shell commands).
So maybe you make the button Inspect this computer in the list of application accessible via an URL: https://personal.vulndetect.com/#/applications/scan-now
After the scan started, you redirect to the list of apps (so users don't see the /scan-now in the URL).

    Check-In

    Commands:

    1. Alexa, check-in to VulnDetect

Performs a check-in (maybe also accessible by an URL)

    Show time of last scan

    Commands:

    1. Alexa, when was the last VulnDetect scan?
    2. Alexa, when did I scan my computer with VulnDetect?

Reads out when the last system scan was performed:
You scanned your computer 5 hours and 24 minutes ago, the next scan will be in 18 hours and 36 minutes.

    System Status

    Show ALL Vulnerabilities

    Commands:

    1. Alexa, ask VulnDetect for vulnerabilities
    2. Alexa, show my vulnerabilities in VulnDetect
    3. Alexa, show my vulnerable apps in VulnDetect
    4. Alexa, do I have vulnerabilities is VulnDetect?
    5. Alexa, do I have vulnerable apps in VulnDetect?

Reads out a list of all vulnerable applications and for each application also the information if an update is available.
Note: instead of "my" also the word "all" should work.

    Show NEW Vulnerabilities

    Commands:

    1. Alexa, ask VulnDetect for new vulnerabilities
    2. Alexa, show new vulnerabilities in VulnDetect
    3. Alexa, show new vulnerable applications in VulnDetect
    4. Alexa, do I have new vulnerabilities is VulnDetect?
    5. Alexa, do I have new vulnerable apps in VulnDetect?

Here only new vulnerabilities should be listed, so if I had up to now 10 vulnerable applications and today 2 new vulnerable apps were found, then only those 2 apps are shown.

    Show number of Vulnerabilities

    Commands:

    1. Alexa, how many vulnerabilities do I have in VulnDetect?
    2. Alexa, how many vulnerable apps do I have in VulnDetect?

Reads out how many vulnerable applications the user has installed and how many updates for these vulnerabilities are available.

Additional Ideas (not yet in the above list)

    • Show ALL Available Updates
    • Show NEW Available Updates
    • Show number of Available Updates
    • Auto-Update All Apps
    • Auto-Update Specific App
    • Show list of Available Auto-Updates

      @OLLI_S Very interesting idea.
But don't you think that VulnDetect users are too concerned with privacy issues to purchase an Alexa device?
      😆
