It is detected, but the vendor is still the old one:

@OLLI_S Did you find any official references stating that the vendor has changed?

I can see the file, but on the website there is no references to any legal / ownership changes.

I knew that you will ask this (because I also did not find anything on the website).
So I created a support ticked 2 days ago and today I received this reply:

Hello,

Thank you for your concern. The company "Softdeluxe" is the mother company of "FreeDownloadManager.ORG".
The new version was decided upon to have these credentials.

I see no reason to change it, when the website still publishes other information.

@Tom I totally agree with you (especially because users already are used to "FreeDownloadManager.ORG")
The reason why I started this topic is: FDM was not detected after the update with the new vendor.

Currently it is OK how it is detected:

So I mark this issue as solved.
