[Added] Acronis TrueImage 2018 - App-Request
-
@gregalexandre I would greatly appreciate if you could show me the correlation between the version number shown in the UI / About and the trueimage.exe file.
-
@GregAlexandre You can use the tool GetAppDetails (I programmed this) to read all the information from the EXE file.
-
@GregAlexandre I released a new version of GetAppDetails where some bugs were resolved.
-
@GregAlexandre I moved the posts (that GetAppDetails is not working with Acronis True Image to the GetAppDetails topic.
-
@gregalexandre How about if you "right click" and select details, what does that say and what does he UI say about the version?
-
@Tom

@GregAlexandre
I will release a fixed version of GetAppDetails tonight. -
@olli_s Thank you, the issue is that the info in the exe doesn't seem to be consistent with the info on the Acronis website, that is why I would like to know what the Acronis UI reports.
-
This should be displayed correctly now
-
I installed Acronis True Image Home 2018 in my VM and it is detected.
But I don't see any version information in the UI. -
@olli_s They only report / use the build number, and that is fine, as long as it is consistent
-
OK, then the issue is solved
