RE: Welcome to VulnDetect the alternative to the Secunia PSI which will "die" on 20th April 2018
PSI user for years I liked the continuous update of recognized apps and eventually to keep out of scan dead apps.
As many others, I hated the splash screen
I did not used the update feature as most of the times it did not work as "run as".
One thing missing is to have some control on the schedule of scans.Hope this helps.

RE: VulnDetect Agent should notify Available Updates
@olli_s You shall know when you have something to do, something goes wrong and when all is OK.

RE: Change time in logs to local time
@olli_s For personal use, using local time could be acceptable even if this causes some troubles at Daily summer time changes. For administration in an international context it is a nightmare.
I suggest to use eventlog which stores data in UTC and display using local time of the one who displays the logs. This also have the advantage to manage security of logs. -
RE: Add multiple computers (Family/Companies)
To add some clues:
- home / family computers should not be restricted to home / family / student version (professional versions shall be allowed)
- IP address shall not be a criteria to differentiate computers: it is now quite current to have multi-homed, multi-stacks home computers but you still have NAT for IP V4.
Hope this helps.

RE: IP V6 support
@tom No issue with IPV6 as far as I can see.
IP adresses of systems on my personal LAN are reported using IPV6.
Glad to see a product which does not prefer reporting IPV4 when both stacks are active.Regards.

CrystaldiskInfo 9.4.4 detected as 9.1.1
Hi,
The reported version is 9.1.1 based on diskinfo32.exe
But installed version is 9.9.4 as in Diskinfo64.exe
It seems that installing x64 version doesn't remove the x32 one.Hope this helps.

RE: Cygwin Filezilla detected as Widnows Filezilla
@Tom :
I do not see what could mean "a standard sub application" of Cygwin.
Cygwin allows Linuxes / Unixes apps to run on Windows when recompiled using the cygwin emulation DLLs.
So, you can have, multiple apps maintained or not available thru the Cygwin installer that manage dependencies.
I most of the times use it for openssl client.
So I removed Filezilla as I did not need it. I suppose it was installed due to a bug.
I know that I do not answer to your question but I am unable to give you a yes/no answer.
Hope this helps.
Regards.
PS: what you get when you search for openssl in the installer...
