[Solved] Edge webview detected as unsecure even when edge is up-to-date

Hi,

I updated edge thru its help but webview is still seen as unsecure.

When I use the download button:
I am redirected to edge download.

I will see if I can do something about the download link, however, the state of WebView appears to be correct.

It is important to note that WebView is a "standalone" component, that is updated separately from Edge.

Depending on which 3rd party apps you have that use WebView, the attack vectors may be somewhat limited, compared to the Edge browser when it is being used to visit arbitrary pages.

It seems that webview is updated with edge. I did not installed anything and now webview is ok.

I cannot explain.

@gregalexandre It does get updated separately from Edge, but it is done silent, so most users won't ever notice.

@Tom I don't have Microsoft Edge WebView listed in Vulndetect on any of my machines.
I just have Microsoft Edge.
So why is Microsoft Edge WebView not shown in the business UI?
When will bundling introduced in the business UI?
