[Solved] Libre Office - No longer shown after Update to 6.0.5.2 (Bug)
-
Today I installed on my PC an update for Libre Office (new version 6.0.5.2) but VulnDetect does not show Libre Office anymore!
I have two versions of Libre Office (the current version and an older version) but both versions are no longer shown.
Here the information extracted from the Current Version:

@Tom I searched for "Libre" in the list of applications (copied the text from GetAppDetails) and nothing was found.
Now, 10 minutes later both versions are shown and also the version numbers are shown correctly.
But after the system scan nothing was found for "Libre".
So there is a delay of several minutes? -
A delay of minutes can happen, but it will be rare. Usually, a successful detection will be processed and updated in the database less than 10 seconds after the secteer.exe process has submitted the inspection and exits.
We have only a few times seen larger delays, but I suppose that it should be more clear in the interface, how "old" the current result is.
I mean, for most users, I don't think it is much of an issue, but clearly, when one is using the way that you are, then it is important to know if it is two minutes or two days old. -
So I should be more patient and give the system 5 minutes after the scan?
Really a hard task... -
@olli_s Hahaha, I know
Well, if you look at the Configuration page, then you should see the "Last Inspection" and that should be reliable. So if that shows e.g. 1 minute ago and the result is old, then you stumbled upon something unexpected. Of course, always verify with a reload in the browser, since the browser could be caching a result, but I know you have a good habit doing that -
This is why I suggested to show the last inspection in the list of applications.
-
At the moment I see:
- LibreOffice 6.0 Version 6.0.6
- LibreOffice 6.1 Version 6.1.2
So the issue is solved
