@zian There is some known issues with IE11. This is a new one. We will soon launch the "new" product called VulnDetect to replace the CARMA, after that we will start working on the UI quirks. Thanks for reporting this.

@nak We believe we found the cause of this issue. The developers have just released a fix: https://vulndetect.org/topic/472/release-secteer-vulndetect-personal-and-backend-2018-12-28 Please let me know if this fixes it (you only need to wait and see if it runs the inspection at the next "inspectionWindow").

@Tom Thanks. It worked now. • Why does VulnDetect recommend older versions

@OLLI_S Because only two users run Ahnenblatt, so we don't see it that fast. I have it on my PC and also the current Beta in my VM. So maybe I am the "two users"... And the English Ahnenblatt website is always after the German. So even on they day where we did add "recommended" for 2.99h, the English website still recommended 2.99g. You are right, this is a mess... Changing the recommended version is always something that requires manual work on our side, so just because someone installs a newer version, we will continue to recommend the "old" version until we confirm that the new version is official and recommended by the vendor. I know that this is a manual action. But now I understand why you recommend the older version (because of the version on the English website).

In the Windows 10 settings I went to Date and Time. Here I deactivated the two options Set Time Automatically and also Set Time Zone Automatically. Then I activated the options again, so Windows 10 updated the time from the Internet. Then I did a full system scan. But I see again: Last CheckIn a minute ago Last Inspection in a few seconds Maybe your servers don't have the correct time?

@cdqEAW67 That is great news, it was actually quite relevant, we have identified about a handful of others who were affected by this. So once again, thank you.

@GregAlexandre Removing chocolatey isn't trivial for all users, since a few already used it or started using after it was installed by VulnDetect. We are assessing ways to determine this in a reliable way, so we don't remove it if the user has used it. Alternatively, we will release a removal script at some point, so you and others easily can remove it.
